Silly Work Project

I had a job come across my desk today at work. Every once in a while a sales person will want to take advantage of our equipment but they don’t know how to operate it I will get an email like this…

“Hey can you put a picture of a bad ass lion above this and print out a couple of posters for me and my kid?”

If you think that is inspirational and worthy of a poster then good on you, but I must spend too much time at the zoo because all I can think is, “I don’t think lions live next to lambs.” I’ve watched my fair share of nature documentaries and I don’t remember any of them commenting on or analyzing the lion’s reaction to the passive aggressive nature of the lamb. Actually, I had no idea lambs were passive aggressive by nature. It kind of makes sense if you think about it… wait no it doesn’t. I did as I was instructed and quickly designed a poster. The sales person called and asked if I could make it into a cling that they could put on a window. So with the idea of the sun breaking through the clouds to illuminate the cling and inspire the masses I created this…

Whoa! Just gives you chills doesn’t it? While I was preparing the file to print a co-worker was behind me. He saw the preview image and just kind of rolled his eyes. I left the file in the queue and walked away. My co-worker started to giggle when he looked in the queue and saw the “The Lion Cling is waiting to print.”
